A Family Tradition
Bona B Ranch is located just one hour east of downtown Dallas in the gently rolling countryside of East Texas. We are a privately owned ranch that is quite unique in that we breed not only the highest quality Brahman cattle, but we also raise beautiful, unparalleled riding horses for dressage and jumping.
Bo & Nanni
Bona B Ranch is a dream come true for owners Bo and Nanni Baker. Bo and Nanni moved to the 525-acre East Texas ranch from the hill country in 2010, and have built the ranch from the ground up. Bo has built all of the horse fencing and continues to work on cattle and perimeter fencing. He placed all of the water lines on the property and oversaw the construction of the barn and indoor arena. Together, Bo and Nanni have designed the barn and arena, handpicking every detail.

Ranch Life
The ranch has an abundance of wildlife, a lovely bass fishing lake, and even a blue catfish pond where Bo and Nanni’s grandkids enjoy feeding the blue cats! Each year roughly 100 Canadian geese visit the ranch, and some even raise their babies there. There is a large flock of heron that also call the ranch home. They dominate three trees with well over 50 nests visible in the spring! Of course there are also many deer, wild hogs, coyote and an occasional bobcat. A bald eagle pair has also been known to visit!
